“Thank you for just the best day! Saturday 16th July was a day to remember and a great one at that! It was super hot, but the Salone Event was run so well and we were all catered for so so well! I love these events and would recommend these to anyone who is starting out on track or a regular track addicts like myself!! Thank you Bernadette and looking forward to the next one!!”

What happens on the day?

The Goodwood gates will be open from 07:30. On arrival you will see the Salone Events banners, head straight through the tunnel running under the circuit and follow the road around to the main paddocks on your left where you will find everyone else getting ready for the day. We recommend going straight to the noise testing area which is signposted near the paddocks.

Once parked head over to the Sir Jackie Stuart Pavilion to sign in. You will be greeted by one of the cheerful and friendly Salone Events representatives, to make sure that you are set up for the day. Please make sure you and anyone else driving your vehicle brings their full driving licence.

At 08.30 we will have a drivers safety briefing to go over all driver safety instructions and procedures. If you are new to the Goodwood circuit and would like to learn more ahead of time

Now it is time to start your engines as whenever you are ready you can head out on track. We recommend getting a couple of taster laps to get a feel for it before you start pushing your car to the limits.

We limit the numbers to maximise your time on track, so much so that one of our clients commented that he did over 110 laps of the circuit during one of our days.

At 12:30 we break for lunch and refreshments and our grid photo for anyone who wants to take part. It is a great time for family and friends to come along.

Back on track from 13:30 to close out the afternoon until saying goodbye at 17:00.

In addition, we normally have some of our company partners attend to enhance the day even more for our guests.

Take a look at our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram) for upcoming news and information regarding our other track days. We hope to see you there!

Spectators at Salone Events Track Days

We love to welcome members of the publics, families and friends to enjoy the day alongside us and our drivers!

Whilst our drivers don’t offer passenger rides to general public (only their pre booked guests), the general public are able to walk freely around the paddocks and the entire perimeter of the track. Access to the pit lane is prohibited.

Dogs are also welcome on site as long as they are on a lead. You can take them on a nice walk around the entire perimeter, approximately 45 minute walk.

There are also cafes on site, such as the Motor Circuit Cafe and the Goodwood Aerodrome cafe, where you can enjoy something to eat – and sometimes you’ll even see a Spitfire take off from Spitfires.com!

There is no charge for entering the circuit to any of our track days, we just ask for a small donation to the charity halow with us on the day.
